Project Manager - Data Governance or IT Projects - Saudi National - 2-Year Engagement

Location: Riyadh, KSA.

Years of Experience: a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years managing data governance or IT-related projects.

Project Duration: 2 years.

Working Arrangement: on-site.

Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).

Nationalities: Saudi nationals.

We are seeking a qualified Project Manager (Saudi National) with expertise in managing Data Governance or IT Projects for a 2-year engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of data management or IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with NDMO standards and PDPL compliance. The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of project management experience, including a minimum of 3 years leading data governance or IT-related projects, and demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and regulatory knowledge.

Key Qualifications

• Saudi National (mandatory).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, including 3+ years in data governance or IT-related projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience leading data governance, data management, or compliance-driven IT initiatives.
• Familiarity with NDMO (National Data Management Office) standards and PDPL (Personal Data Protection Law) compliance.
• Exceptional project planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Execution
• Plan, execute, and monitor data governance or IT-related projects in alignment with scope, timelines, and budget.
• Oversee project deliverables and ensure adherence to NDMO and PDPL compliance standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Manage expectations, facilitate workshops, and provide project updates to senior stakeholders.
• Risk & Compliance Management
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Ensure all deliverables are aligned with national data governance requirements and data privacy regulations.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Develop comprehensive project documentation including plans, risk logs, and progress reports.
• Provide regular updates and insights to executive sponsors and governance bodies.
• Continuous Improvement
• Capture and apply lessons learned to improve project delivery frameworks and methodologies.
