About The Role
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale aviation construction projects, such as terminal expansions or refurbishments. This role will manage the project team and ensure the timely delivery of milestones within the defined scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager will directly report to the Project Director and interact with clients, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure the project aligns with industry regulations and contractual requirements.
Specific Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent
Minimum 15 years in large-scale construction projects, with a focus on aviation infrastructure

About The Role
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale aviation construction projects, such as terminal expansions or refurbishments. This role will manage the project team and ensure the timely delivery of milestones within the defined scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager will directly report to the Project Director and interact with clients, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure the project aligns with industry regulations and contractual requirements.
Specific Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project execution, ensuring compliance with client specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the review and approval of contractors' shop drawings and monitor construction progress.
- Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage project risks by identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the project adheres to airport safety standards, environmental laws, and quality management systems (QMS).
- Regularly report project status, financials, and key milestones to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with airport authorities, regulatory bodies, and contractors.
- Manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and control over project variations.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with set objectives.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, report writing, and team coordination.
- Proven track record of managing complex construction projects in the aviation sector.
- In-depth knowledge of construction project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety standards, and construction codes.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
- Experience working in the GCC region is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Design-Bid-Build delivery method.
- Experience in managing airport-related construction projects, such as terminal refurbishments and expansions.
