Project Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Engineer that coordinate the design and requisitioning of the portion of work assigned (per several disciplines or project areas and/or facility unit) in accordance with Company’s QHSES corporate policies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, classes etc.), schedule and budget

Key Responsibilities:

• Within his/her area of action, ensures that engineering and requisitioning/subcontracting activities are developed according to schedule, man/hours, equipment and materials budget as well as contractual specifications Ensures production of IFC engineering documents in due time & fit for purpose
• Ensures timely reporting to Project Management and operational supervisor: follow up of activity, critical deviation of activities and/ or potential risks
• Within his/her area of responsibilities, enforces QHSES corporate policies
• Carries out interdisciplinary consistency of design and requisitioning documents
• Ensures that vendors’ documents are approved, commented, and returned to vendors on time
• Contributes in obtaining client approval on technical documents
• Ensures the production of documents required for the permitting process (as required by contract and authorities)
• Ensures that all disciplines under his/her responsibility have all information and data to proceed with activities
• Contributes to the definition of equipment lists
• In charge of transversal activities such as specific inter-disciplines reviews & action plan
• Builds and maintains relationship with customer and other stakeholders associated with the Project Engineering Scope (partners, subcontractors, vendors …).
• Contributes to people development by interfacing with project department.
• Contributes to schedule preparation, actively controls schedule execution and proposes corrective actions when needed
• Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to project manager and client
• Contributes to respect of material and man/hours budget
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in Process, Engineering or Other technical disciplines involved in Project execution
• Fluency in English
• Practical experience in coordinating with Saudi Aramco, Saudi Government Authorities and other relevant entities.
• background in collaborating with operational facilities, Saudi Aramco Departments, Third Parties, and Joint Ventures.
