Project Director

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction for the successful execution of PMC projects in the housing and infrastructure sectors.
• Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, considering scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
• Ensure alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are clearly understood and met.
• Foster strong client relationships to enhance project satisfaction and future collaboration.
• Lead and motivate project teams, including project managers, engineers, and support staff.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Oversee budget development and management for projects, ensuring cost control and financial sustainability.
• Implement effective cost management strategies.
• Identify and assess project risks, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
• Conduct regular quality assessments and audits.
• Provide regular and transparent project status updates to clients and senior management.
• Generate comprehensive reports on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Resolve any contractual disputes in collaboration with legal and project teams.
• Engage with various stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure positive and collaborative relationships with all project stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 25 years of progressive experience in Project Management Consultancy for housing and infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership and strategic management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management capabilities.
• Professional certifications in Project Management or related fields.
• Previous experience in managing PMC projects of significant scale and complexity.
