About The Role

We are seeking a Marketing & Media Coordinator, who will drive the promotion of panel discussions and workshops in the visual arts field, draft bilingual press releases and create social media content in both Arabic and English. You will also coordinate event photography, videography, media communications, and collaborate with journalists to ensure effective media coverage. This role requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and edit press releases and promotional content in both Arabic and English.
  • Develop and manage social media content strategies to promote the events, ensuring bilingual communication.
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors (e.g., graphic designers) to ensure consistent branding and quality across marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with photographers and videographers for event coverage, ensuring high-quality documentation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, facilitating event coverage and interviews with speakers.
  • Communicate with the project stakeholders in the Ministry of Culture (MOC) for approvals and amendments of marketing materials.
  • Provide event management support during the pre-production and production event days, including venue visits, supplier communications, and overseeing smooth event operations.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to align marketing and media activities with overall project goals.
  • Support reporting processes by maintaining accurate records and timelines.
  • Create and manage an online platform for the event, including features such as ticketing and seat bookings
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports covering both social media and traditional media engagement
  • Coordinate with influencers and manage influencer partnerships as part of the marketing strategy.
  • Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive final analytical reports and project closure reports.

  • Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills, with experience drafting press materials and online promotions.
  • Social media management experience, including developing content calendars.
  • Ability to coordinate media and photographers, ensuring cohesive coverage and documentation of events.
  • Relationship-building skills to work effectively with media outlets, journalists, and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, public relations, or social media management, preferably in events or the cultural sector.
  • Proven ability to create bilingual (Arabic/English) content.
  • Interest in contemporary art in Saudi Arabia and beyond, demonstrating a passion for the sector and understanding of its nuances.


Location & Commitments

  • Full-time, contracted for a period of 12 months (project-based).
  • Work 5 days a week (flexibility on days according to project needs), 9 hours a day, including a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
