Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Director to join our team, who can support a team of professionals overseeing every phase of a large-scale Stadium Arena project. In this role, you will be required to develop, manage, and execute all phases of the project controls effort on the program. The candidate will manage a team of professionals across all aspects of project controls functions, utilizing widely diversified knowledge of best practices and drawing upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.

In this role, you will be required to develop, manage, and execute all phases of the project controls effort on the program. The candidate will manage a team of professionals across all aspects of project controls functions, utilizing widely diversified knowledge of best practices and drawing upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
- Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides strategy-type recommendations on critical matters to support decision making.
- Leads the establishment of the program master coding architecture, integrating all functional requirements, and the development of a robust, scalable reporting system across the program.
- Guides the development and implementation of project controls procedures to support the implementation of best practices, primarily for schedule, cost, earned value, risk and change management processes.
- Manages a team of Project Control specialists who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones. Assesses the impact of design and construction changes and schedule slippages.
- Recommends and oversees the implementation and customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
- Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel.
- Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development goals and opportunities for the assigned employees.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- 20+ years of overall related experience, including 10+ years in a similar managerial role.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Proven strong stakeholder management skills to c-suite level.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to make well-informed decisions based on data and analysis.
- GCC experience is required.
- PMO/PMC experience is required.
- Requires engineering knowledge in civil, electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
- Effective oral and written skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal / external correspondence; ability to effectively present information to key stakeholders.
- Proficient PC skills including proficiency in Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage and encourage a team of construction management professionals.
- Ability to interface with all levels with project team, client, and others.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of support function problems.
