WSP Middle East are currently looking for a Project Controls Director to develop, deliver, maintain, and manage a standard and consistent full suite of Project Controls i.e., Cost Estimating, Cost Management, Planning & Scheduling, Risk Management, Contract Administration, and Information Delivery for an ongoing PMC programme in Riyadh.

Your new role, what's involved?

  • Establish and implement the project controls process and system.
  • Provide project management support in the development of the work breakdown structure, activities, logic, resources and progress of the integrated project schedule, i.e. baseline
  • Identify, implement and maintain the complete controls structure, tools and procedures needed for the program based on the contracting strategy, execution plan and the risks identified for different projects
  • Provide strategic guidance to the program controls team consistent with the different project’s execution strategy
  • Lead the development of cost management, planning and progress monitoring procedures

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 20+ years of direct, relevant experience with cost and scheduling and/or Project Management in an Engineering & Construction environment
  • Preferably a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management
  • Possess 15+ years experience in delivering fully coordinated, multi-disciplinary Project Controls Management for Project Management and Construction Management on hotels or large mixed-use development projects in the capacity of Senior Project Controls Manager or Project Controls Director
  • Worked for an international consultancy for around 15-20 years with ideally 5 years of experience in the Middle East
  • Project Controls Management experience on PMC mixed-use or infra projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex project controls issues, manage conflict and provide resolution using a combination of technical skills, leadership, teamwork and people management skills
  • Broad knowledge of applicable Project Controls softwares and tools
