Project Controller / Planner

Hill International is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Controller / Planner to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As a global leader in project management and construction consulting services, Hill International is dedicated to delivering successful projects for our clients.

As the Project Controller / Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and cost control activities for a variety of projects in Madinah. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential delays or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders
• Identify potential delays or issues and work with project team to develop solutions
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation plans
• Coordinate with cost control team to ensure project budget is aligned with schedule
• Provide support to project managers in project planning and execution
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders
• Train and mentor junior planners and schedulers on project controls best practices
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on schedule and cost related matters
• Continuously evaluate and improve project controls processes and procedures
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls or planning role
• Experience in Primavera P6 software is required
• Knowledge of project management principles and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to relocate to Madinah, Saudi Arabia and work on a full-time, permanent basis
• Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills are a plus
