This position reports to
Global SIU Controller
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive all financial activities within multiple small-scale projects or a single large project. Each day, you will act as a business partner to the Project Management team, supporting all financial and commercial matters. You will also showcase your expertise by actively driving the project’s performance.
The work model for the role is: – Onsite
This role contributes to the System Integration Units (SIU) Business Line within Measurement & Analytics in India and Saudi Arabia.
Main stakeholders: Project Managers, Local Controllers, and Global PG Controller – System Integration Units.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Your role and responsibilities

This role contributes to the System Integration Units (SIU) Business Line within Measurement & Analytics in India and Saudi Arabia.
Main stakeholders: Project Managers, Local Controllers, and Global PG Controller – System Integration Units.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Providing financial input for the project execution plan and ensuring compliance with ABB’s revenue recognition guidelines (US GAAP).
- Managing project accounting, invoicing, and financial reporting processes, including monthly closings, forecasts, and budgets.
- Optimizing cash flow, revenue, and gross margin together with the Project Manager, while managing currency risks, guarantees, and tax issues.
- Supporting the Project Manager in organizing and preparing monthly/quarterly project reviews and ensuring the substantiation of cost estimates.
- Leading the financial management of Local Units, ensuring full P&L accountability and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals.
- Driving cost optimization, productivity improvements, and capital efficiency through innovative solutions and forward-looking analytics.
- Upholding ABB’s core values of safety, integrity, and collaboration, promoting a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
- More than five years of experience in project and financial controlling within the industrial sector.
- Completed higher professional education as Chartered Accountant, Cost Works Accountant, or Cost Management Accountant.
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system.
- Skilled in managing complex projects and working under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English, with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
