What You’ll Do

IMG Saudi Arabia are committed to our creating dynamic, captivating storytelling in our new five-year partnership with the Saudi Pro League and Saudi Arabian Football Federation. We at IMG will support SPL and SAFF to implement the highest possible production standards which celebrate the rich culture and passion that drive the sport.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager (On-Site) to join our Saudi Pro League production team. This is a travel based role around SPL fixtures and involves being a highly visible member of the production management team at stadiums across this vast territory.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a fixed-term contract dependent on local employment regulations based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

You must be flexible to travel extensively across KSA to work on site across the various match locations/stadiums. You will also be required to frequently work weekends and unsocial hours.

This role is open to Saudi Nationals only, at this time.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • The Live Production Manager will travel across Saudi Arabia on SPL Outside Broadcast in conjunction with our OB partner.
  • Managing day-to-day production of Host Broadcast output across multiple Saudi Arabian stadiums within the SPL League. The onsite Production Manager needs to ensure that the production team adhere to compliance and H&S guidelines and be key contact for stadium management, SPL representative and Unilateral broadcasters.
  • Ensure that SPL matches are delivered on time and to budget.
  • In conjunction with the Production Executive and Senior Producers work on the schedule, planning for SPL departments, ensuring that staffing needs of all programmes are met.
  • Work with internal departments (e.g. legal, HR, finance, immigration) to ensure all staffing, suppliers and freelancers have secured all necessary visas and work permits, as required.
  • Develop an effective relationship with external facility providers and suppliers, ensuring regular communication, and able to troubleshoot issues and potential delays.
  • Responsible for the dissemination of production reports; including knowing what the information means, gaps that require discussion and trends that appear.
  • Advise the Production Executive/Head of Production of any potential problems or issues, particularly those impacting schedule and budget, and come prepared with proposed solutions
  • Work to establish new processes, procedures and methods that improve production systems and outcomes and overall workflow
  • Support producers’ day-to-day or shoot-specific operational demands as directed ensuring Risk Assessments are properly created and adhered to.
  • In conjunction with the Production Executive, Executive Producer and Technical Manager ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and appropriate plans and paperwork are in place.
  • Ensure all freelancers are contracted correctly as per local and relevant guidelines.
  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

You Will Have The Following Strengths

  • Experience of dealing with broadcasters, stakeholders and a range of personnel.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to produce a production budget.
  • Some knowledge of responsibilities in relation to rights and clearances, production work flows, insurance and health and safety.
  • Experience of dealing with broadcasters, stakeholders and a range of personnel.
  • Good excel skills.
