Job description:

Job Purpose

This Position exists to assist in coordinating production operations tasks efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

Material Consumption Management

  • Achieve all material consumption targets on time by closely monitoring usage rates and adjusting plans as necessary to align with production schedules.

Raw Material Availability

  • Collect and ensure the consistent availability of raw and hazardous (ROH) materials as per the production requirements, coordinating with suppliers and logistics to prevent delays.

Stock Monitoring

  • Monitor stock levels on a daily basis for required materials, utilizing inventory management systems to track and analyze stock movements to avoid shortages.

Inventory Management

  • Prepare detailed inventory records and conduct thorough inventory cycle counts each month, aiming to complete a full item count within a three-month timeframe to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Rework Order Management

  • Initiate and follow up on the creation of rework orders as per production requirements, diligently maintaining related data to facilitate tracking and reporting.

Routing and BOM Corrections

  • Initiate and follow up on necessary Routing and BOM corrections, ensuring that all changes are accurately documented and maintained in the system for operational efficiency.

Documentation Accuracy

  • Ensure the documentation accuracy in SAP for all materials and processes by conducting regular audits and implementing best practices for data entry and management.

Petty Cash and Purchase Requests

  • Collect and coordinate with administration to create petty cash requests and purchase requests (PRs) on a need basis for the section, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and justified.

Scrap Documentation

  • Control and ensure proper scrap documentation in SAP by accurately recording all scrap materials, thereby maintaining compliance with inventory management policies.

Material Movement Management

  • Be responsible for all material movements in the system, including reservations, receiving, stock transfer orders (STOs/OBDs), and goods receipts (GRs), ensuring accurate tracking and reporting at every stage.

Production Order Management

  • Perform production order confirmations and deliveries on a need basis, ensuring timely execution to meet production deadlines and facilitate smooth operational flow.

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.

  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
