The Product Manager – Acute Therapies, Saudi Arabia is responsible for developing and executing the strategic marketing plan for Baxter Kidney Care (Vantive)’s Acute Therapies portfolio, including Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and other critical care solutions. This role involves market analysis, product positioning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure optimal therapy adoption and business growth. The Product Manager will work closely with sales, clinical, and regulatory teams to drive market expansion and enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing & Business Planning

• Develop and implement the marketing strategy for Acute Therapies in Saudi Arabia.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and forecasting to support business growth.

• Align product strategies with global and regional objectives to maximize therapy adoption.

2. Sales Enablement & Commercial Support

• Work closely with the sales team to develop product positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies.

• Provide sales training, clinical insights, and market intelligence to enhance performance.

• Support key customer engagements, sales pitches, and tenders. 3. Key Opinion Leader (KOL) & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with nephrologists, intensivists, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.

• Identify and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive therapy adoption.

• Partner with medical societies and regulatory bodies to influence market access and guidelines.

3. Product Management & Launch Excellence

• Drive the successful launch of new Acute Therapies products in Saudi Arabia. • Ensure regulatory compliance and market readiness for product introduction and expansion.

• Gather customer feedback and market insights to enhance product performance and innovation.

5. Training & Clinical Education

• Develop and execute educational programs for healthcare professionals to increase awareness and proficiency in Acute Therapies.

• Organize workshops, seminars, and hands-on training for hospital staff and sales teams.

• Collaborate with the medical and clinical teams to ensure continuous medical education.

Essential Qualifications & Education Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, biomedical sciences, marketing, business, or a related field.

• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or specialization in nephrology/intensive care) is a plus. Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or sales within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.

• Experience in nephrology, critical care, or dialysis therapies is highly preferred. • Proven track record in launching and managing healthcare products successfully.

• Strong experience working with healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and distributors.

Skills & Competencies

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term business and marketing strategies.

• Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and business development.

• Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to deliver clinical and commercial messaging effectively.

• Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.

• Analytical Skills: Expertise in market research, data analysis, and performance tracking.

• Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.

• Language Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic.

Knowledge & Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of Acute Therapies, CRRT, and critical care solutions.

• Proven experience in training and engaging healthcare professionals.

• Familiarity with Saudi healthcare regulations, reimbursement policies, and hospital procurement processes.

As of February 1, Baxter has completed the sale of its Kidney Care business, which will now operate as Vantive. Today, this job is within a Vantive deferred market, which means that the employer of record for this role will initially be Baxter. When the applicable legal entity in country goes live, the employer of record for the role will transition to Vantive.
