Summary:
Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in
sourcing quality products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring
efficient procurement processes that align with the company's goals. This role
requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding
of the perfume retail market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, evaluate,and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods.
2. Source raw materials, packaging, and finished products relevant to the perfume industry,ensuring adherence to quality standards and budget constraints.
3. Negotiate contracts,prices, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms for the company.
4. Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer
needs without overstocking.
5. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, new product offerings, and competitive pricing.
6. Continuously review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
8. Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 8 years of experience in procurement within the retail perfume industry.
3. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
4. Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and market dynamics.
5. Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
