What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs), and tender packages.
- Support evaluation of supplier and contractor proposals, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, and commercial teams to align procurement activities with project objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier databases, and contract documentation.
- Participate in supplier negotiations under guidance of senior staff.
- Support contract administration activities including monitoring supplier performance and compliance.
- Prepare procurement status reports and contribute to project progress reviews.
- Assist in market research and benchmarking to identify competitive suppliers and innovative procurement solutions.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex documents and data.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced project environment.
- Awareness of ethical procurement practices and compliance principles.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
