We’re looking for a Professional Procurement Engineer to elevate our procurement strategy and drive our sourcing efforts to the next level!
As a Procurement Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and executing sourcing strategies for capital expenditures (Capex) and contractor services. You’ll ensure that our procurement activities align with strategic objectives, delivering cost savings, quality improvements, and risk mitigation across key projects. In this role, you’ll act as the bridge between teams and suppliers, ensuring compliance with established standards and addressing any challenges that arise.
Your Responsibilities
Category Management: Develop and implement category strategies for Capex and contractor management. Stay updated on market trends, supply base, and emerging technologies.
Sourcing and Procurement: Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from tendering and negotiations to contract management. Build a strong supplier base to support our growth.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for favorable terms. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Cost Management: Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality. Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models to optimize procurement decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams. Provide regular updates on procurement activities and strategies.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring supply continuity for key projects.
Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in procurement and contribute to ongoing improvements.
What You Bring
Education: University degree in Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in procurement, with a focus on Capex, contractor services, or engineering projects.
