Job Objective:

Lead the strategic and operational activities related to acquiring goods, contracting. Provide comprehensive leadership to implement plans, policies and strategies for an effective, integrated and systematic functioning. Work collaboratively with other directorate to group the efforts towards the achievement of JCSA’s

strategic objectives.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Develop the strategic and operational plans and guide the implementation of activities on the directorate level.

  • Collaborate with all Directors to ensure that all procurement needs are identified and addressed in the Procurement & Contracts directorate’s plans

  • Lead the development of procurement, contracts and warehousing operational plans, and provide

strategic directions to ensure that they are aligned with each other

● Work hand in hand with the legal team to ensure that all JCSA’s contracts are compliant with the laws and regulations, and serves the best interest of JCSA

● Ensure that the list of approved vendors are up-to-date and fully reflective of any changes based on the feedback received on the provided services quality.

● Review any deviations from procurement plans, and manage the implementation of corrective actions in conjunction with concerned departments..

● Direct all activities related to warehouse operations including but not limited to; safeguarding warehouses through establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols, conducting regular physical counts to check controls inventory levels and ensure its reconciliation with data storage systems..etc..

● Continuously assess the impact of the services delivered through relevant metrics and tools.

● Review allocation of resources to ensure smooth and efficient workflow and utilization.

Ensure the availability of all logistic requirements needed to carry out the directorate’s activities.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or any other relevant field

Professional Certification is a plus

Minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role, 5 years of which in a managerial/leadership role
