Procurement Coordinator

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with potential and existing suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure favorable conditions.
• Oversee supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations
• Collaborate with various departments to assess their procurement needs and ensure purchases align with budgetary constraints and organizational policies.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast future needs, and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure stock availability.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive purchasing. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for procurement activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
• Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Provide training and support to staff on procurement policies and procedures.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
