Procurement Controller - SMP Contractor

Mandatory Qualification

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, or related field

Acceptable English proficiency assessment score from (STEP/TOEFL/IELETS)

Preferred Qualification:

1-3 years in sourcing roles

Warehouse storage planning

Catalog procurement/planning

MRP analysis

SAP ERP and SAP Ariba

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

-Within specific categories, handle the full procurement cycle of materials in accordance with Luberef P&C policies and procedures, including requisition review, sourcing and creation of bidders lists, RFQ, coordination of bidders’ Q&A, bid evaluation, award of POs, material receipt tracking

-Administer emergency requests, PO modifications and terminations in accordance with Luberef policies and procedures

-Partner with the business to ensure alignment of procurement requests to category strategy and business goals

-Analyze procurement requests and propose procurement strategies based on commercial and technical applicability and impact in order to manage business and supplier risks, minimize cycle-time, and maximize cost savings

-Support supplier negotiations of price and T/Cs (in coordination with Corporate Legal) by leveraging product knowledge, understanding of overall business goals, and market intelligence

-Assist the Category Lead and Procurement Agents in strategizing budgeting and planning activities with business and end-users

-Assist the Category Lead in defining material category strategy

-Develop category knowledge through use of historical spend analysis, supplier knowledge, and market trends

-Analyze business and warehouse needs and consumption rates. Challenge current demand, specifications, and quantities

-Realize savings by managing end-user business relationships to make strategic procurement decisions using knowledge and understanding of end-user needs

-Develop supplier relationships for the category to ensure adequate supplier portfolio optimization and build preferred bidder lists

-Understand and use supplier performance reports to manage business risks and opportunities in the development of procurement strategies

-Prepare and analyze historical and budgetary category spend, performance, and cost-savings reports.
