WSP Middle East is looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record of leading design projects in the Building Services Engineering space to join us in Riyadh, KSA.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Develop and implement Mechanical Building Services Engineering strategies and conduct feasibility studies for diverse projects across the Middle East.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality Building Services Engineering designs by adopting a hands-on, technically focused approach.
• Create innovative technical solutions for complex problems, utilizing creativity and ingenuity.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for projects, engaging directly with clients and delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Conduct project reviews and ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures.
• Integrate sustainable principles into the design of mechanical services and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards as per company policies.
• Optimize resource utilization across teams and projects, including coordinating with Complimentary Resource Centers (CRCs) to enhance communication and design processes.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
• Proficient in analytical and design software such as Revit, IES, and HAP.
• Demonstrates strong project management and leadership skills, with a proven ability to make strategic decisions.
• Effectively drives collaboration within project teams and the broader building services group.
• Over 7 years of post-qualification experience in mechanical design, with extensive involvement in large and diverse projects.
• Confident and clear communicator, adept at regular client interactions.
• Leads MEP teams on small-scale projects and manages resources, commercial aspects, and technical delivery independently.
• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of all MEP systems for effective coordination with architects and other sub-consultants.
