Job Description

The Principal Landscape Architect provides oversight to realize execution excellence in the delivery of all phases of landscape architecture projects under his/her direction and in the landscape group generally. He/she shall be responsible for the technical excellence of the tasks and analyses performed, regulatory compliance, and for on-schedule completion of landscape projects within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Strong technical Landscape Architectural skills, with at least 4-years of experience in the GCC area, ideally with time spent on-site and with knowledge of local site conditions.
• Excellent ability to develop, draw and communicate technical and design ideas from concept to technical stage.
• Exceptional communication skills. Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work in a complex environment with many moving parts and high levels of ambiguity
• Ability to lead and mentor other staff members across multiple organizations
• Ability to work well under pressure
• A motivated all-rounder with a positive can-do attitude and demonstrable technical abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft office
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in landscape design field showing increasing levels of responsibility
• Experience managing groups for established Architecture/Engineering firms or the client side
• Experience dealing with UAE based municipalities and developers
• Proven leadership and delivery ability
• Knowledge of LEED and ESTIDAMA principles, certification preferred
