  • OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

Drive Ma’aden’s major capital projects to successful completion by providing expert technical leadership for the preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to these projects

  • QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualification

  • Bachelors of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 2 years as Snr Engineer
  • Masters of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 2 years as Snr Engineer
  • PhD + 1,5 year as Snr Engineer

Experience

6 years experience as Engineer (subject to qualification)

Responsible for the development, updating and implementation of project execution plans for all projects

Responsible for developing quality estimates and control base with quality cost control for all projects

Responsible for developing and managing of realistic schedule on projects

Ensure proper governance is in place and complied too on all projects, i.e. steering committees, gate reviews, decision review boards, Legal and Commercial requirements and audits

Responsible for meeting cash flow targets on all projects

Meet risk management requirements on all projects

Ensure that all appropriate functions are timely allocated and represented on all projects

Ensure that quality front-end-loading is done on all projects

Ensure that all project meet safety requirements

Handover and close-out of projects as per Ma'aden's technology requirements

Consistently deliver solutions which contributes to business results and improved competitiveness

Deliver quality cost effective solutions on time and within risk parameters

Accept and implement advice given on programmes and systems

Responsible for gate reviews and decision review board are implemented on all projects

Ensure that all legal requirements on projects are implemented, i.e. safety appointments, competition requirements, etc.
