The Project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Directs providing cost management services from contract signature and award to completion of projects in various sectors.
• Executes administration terms of building contract/s and certifications through provision of technical expertise and teams.
• Directs comprehensive preparation of the contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses and assist formal execution by the appropriate parties.
• Executes administration of the terms of the construction works and services contract.
• Directs the measurement and provision of valuations of work/s carried out and adjusts variations in accordance with the terms of the contract and gains agreement with the contractor/s.
• Provides expert technical advice to ensure adequate cost control and reporting services are maintained and provided during the contract/s.
• Creates and delivers financial reports for the client/s in the form and at the frequency required.
• Defines all costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges and captured in service agreements.
• Implements and engages in the evaluation of claims for delay and additional costs made by the contractor and any nominated subcontractors/suppliers.
• Directs the issuing of certificate/s of practical completion and drives the agreement and negotiation of final accounts to sign off and agreement.
• Directs the issuing of certificate/s of making good defects and final completion in accordance with any requirements relating to completion, submissions and approvals.
• Delivers continuous improvements in processes through application of best practices and lessons learned. Drives transformational change.
• Partners with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working in collaboration to (implement strategy/programmes/initiatives).
• Contributes into strategic development, develops plans and oversees the delivery and manages service provision.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering service excellence to clients.
• Proven experience in commercial management.
• Proven experience in areas such as risk management and change control management.
• Proven experience of different types of contracts including the method of measurement.
