Job Description

Job Summary:

To provide quality, professional and profitable after-sales support to the Emerson customer base in the Middle East & Africa for all Emerson Pressure Management products!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Day to day Depot and Field service of Values
  • Receiving inspection of incoming valves and maintaining valve register.
  • Disassembly, cleanup, and evaluation of parts.
  • Assembly of new equipment or repaired equipment.
  • Calibration, testing and troubleshooting of valves as well as measurement and valve related instruments.
  • Knowledge in International standards API527, API 576, API 2000, ASME Sec XIII, NBIC etc.
  • Documentation of repair / testing / assembly activities – cause of failure, actions taken, parts used, labor hours, etc.
  • Diligently complete timesheets, site visit reports and all other documentation in a timely manner and in line with Emerson internal procedures.
  • Handling measuring tools Vernier caliper, height gauge & etc.
  • Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems
  • Nameplate stamping and tagging.
  • Boxing / shipping of old and new parts. Crating and packaging when required.
  • Final inspection and completion of inspection report.
  • Signing and documenting date compliance sheets.
  • Participation in field service calls, as required, at customer sites. May require overnight stays from time to time.
  • Responsible for personal safety and those around them. Can maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
  • Participation and involvement in Safety, Quality and Activities Committees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • High school or Mechanical related associate degree a plus
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in reputed industry
  • Strong Depot service background and solid experience with Valves products preferred. Other products experience will be added advantage.
  • Read and Understand Technical Documents, Procedures, Data sheet, MSDS & etc.
  • Effective communications in English written and verbal.
  • Basic skills in operating, MS Word, MS Excel, and other computer software

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Service/Assembly/Overall experience for Safety valves, Pressure Regulators and Tank Product.
  • Forklift license
  • Overhead crane License
