We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead and support high-impact initiatives over a 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in PMO setup, portfolio activation, program management, value management, and benefit realization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset, capable of working across multiple stakeholders and ensuring portfolio performance is aligned with organizational objectives. The consultant must already be based in KSA and available to join immediately.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Portfolio and Program Management, with a strong strategic and execution focus.
  • Proven track record in PMO setup, including governance models, tools, and methodology design.
  • Demonstrated success in portfolio activation, prioritization, optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of value management and benefit realization frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
  • Ability to generate portfolio-level insights and prepare executive-level reporting.
  • Currently based in Saudi Arabia and available for immediate start.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PfMP, PgMP, PMP, MoP, or MSP.
  • Background in consulting or leading large-scale transformation portfolios.

Other Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project and portfolio management tools.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement PMO frameworks, processes, and reporting structures.
  • Lead the activation of the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of programs and projects within the portfolio.
  • Establish and monitor value realization metrics, ensuring projects deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Develop and manage benefit realization plans and ensure alignment with business cases.
  • Provide regular portfolio performance updates, dashboards, and reports to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate risk and issue management across the portfolio and support decision-making processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within portfolio governance and execution.
