Job Description

  • Ensure harbor assets are operationally ready to support port activities, including tugs, mooring equipment, and navigational aids.
  • Monitor and coordinate maintenance schedules for all harbor assets in collaboration with the Port Engineer.
  • Plan and oversee harbour operations to ensure timely support for vessel movements and other marine activities.
  • Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and liaise with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for harbour operations personnel and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and analyze data and statistics of the assets and present insights to management when required.
  • Coordinate with customers and VTS for asset deployment based on daily shipping movements to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage all updates and upgrades of the assets’ equipment and charts.
  • Oversee assets operations.
