Role Overview

The PMO Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution, and governance of strategic and operational projects across Salasa. The role is responsible for providing oversight, coordination, and analytical support to ensure that key initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with Salasa’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support & Execution

  • Assist in the planning, monitoring, and execution of cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and risks, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Support project leads in preparing business cases, timelines, and resource plans.

PMO Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain project documentation, status dashboards, and reports for leadership visibility.
  • Ensure standardization and compliance with PMO methodologies and tools.
  • Organize and facilitate project steering committees, reviews, and retrospective meetings.

Analysis & Insights

  • Provide insights through data analysis, KPIs, and progress tracking to support decision-making.
  • Monitor dependencies across departments and flag risks or misalignments.
  • Develop reports, slide decks, and briefing materials for executive stakeholders.

Tool & Process Enablement

  • Support the adoption of PM tools (e.g. Jira) and drive process improvement.
  • Train team members on PMO frameworks and reporting standards as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in project management, PMO, or strategy execution roles.
  • Exposure to logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce is a strong advantage.

Skills

  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or PMP methodologies is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Arabic & English) is a MUST.
