Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable PMCM Senior Materials Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the selection, testing, and quality control of materials used in construction projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and selection of construction materials, including concrete, steel, asphalt, and composites.
• Develop and implement material testing protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Analyze material properties and performance to recommend appropriate usage in various construction applications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure material specifications are met.
• Monitor and report on material quality and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance on material-related issues.
• Stay updated on advancements in material science and engineering to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
• Ensure all materials engineering activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Materials Engineer in the construction industry, with a focus on project management and construction management.
• Proficiency in materials testing and analysis software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
