Job Overview
The Plant Manager plays a critical role in Weatherford’s manufacturing and production operations. The site supports the organization by providing high-quality products, ongoing maintenance, and repairs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, Lean Manufacturing implementation, supply chain, quality assurance, and inventory control. They must be proficient in manufacturing systems, including JD Edwards and Oracle OTM, and have experience working at all organizational levels to ensure the plant operates effectively and efficiently. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires interaction with all levels of staff to drive production. The Plant Manager will oversee a cross-functional team, including dotted-line responsibilities for Finance, HSSE, and Logistics.

Responsibilities
- Expand company development for completion and liner hanger products, working closely with manufacturing and teams
- Oversee all plant functions, accountable for shop floor operations, shared services, and compliance alignment
- Effectively manage cross-functional manufacturing teams to drive productivity, quality, and efficient use of resources
- Implement strategic operations planning to meet customer expectations and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization, personnel development, supplier management, project implementation, and financial reporting
- Leverage expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies to drive plant performance success
- Develop and implement processes to improve plant KPIs such as productivity, cost variance, on-time delivery, cost reduction, and inventory management
- Support implementation of new techniques, products, machinery, and optimize staffing levels
- Strong knowledge of MRP, OTD, Demand Planning, QHSE, and SMQDCE
- Understanding of budgetary processes and fiscal responsibility
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to delegate work effectively
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent training and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent to 10+ years of experience related to manufacturing, particularly in oilfield applications.
- 5-8 years min experience in a manufacturing setting with hands on involvement in leading productivity improvement via setup reduction, tooling improvements, etc.
- Management experience on manufacture plant 5+ Years
