Planning Engineer- Electrical having 10 years' experience in execution of EHV Over Head Transmission Line projects preferably in Middle East.
- Develop detailed programmed for construction activities of the project.
- Understand the true scope and requirements of the project.
- Co – Ordinate with Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Construction Programme.
- Prepare manpower resources schedules and histograms to achieve the timely completion of project.
- Prepare equipment/material procurement schedule.
- Co – Ordinate and assist Project Manager for timely ordering of material and equipment.
- Preparation & Submission of daily, weekly and Monthly reports.
- Prepare work plans and look ahead short-term programmers’ as required by the contract.
- Monitor the progress of works at site and highlight the problems to the PM / CM, as required.
- Monitor and maintain tracking logs for Material and drawing submittals.
- Develop detailed programme for Testing & Commissioning System.
- Attend Project Progress review meetings with Project Manager and assist as required.
- Co ordinate with members of project teams for delivering material submittals on time
- Select the appropriate supplier for satisfying specific techno – commercial requirements.
- Source alternate and new materials for customer to achieve cost – effectiveness
- Develop new vendors.
- Train and develop team on technical, commercial, negotiation skills through seminars.
- Deliver monthly report to management on status of all jobs.
- Obtain approval from management for ordering major items.
