Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a PCG Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team at the Riyadh site.In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading new product introduction initiatives, and optimizing assembly processes to ensure world-class manufacturing standards. You will play a critical part in shaping production strategies, mentoring a high-performing team, and implementing continuous improvement projects that enhance efficiency and quality.

What Would You Do:

• Build and manage the ME (Manufacturing Engineering) team, including daily operations, task allocation, and capability development to maximize team potential.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead ME-related preparations for new projects at the factory, including defining production processes, selecting equipment and tooling, installation and debugging.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and provide hands-on support during trial production phases to ensure seamless product integration
• Design and optimize assembly processes.
• Develop and improve assembly workflows.
• Lead or actively support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update all ME-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with evolving processes and standards

What We Look For:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a manufacturing or process engineering team, with proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Hands-on experience in PC, notebook, or related consumer electronics assembly and manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Proficient in mechanical assembly tolerance analysis, fixture design, and validation.
• Familiar with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles, able to participate in design reviews and provide process-related improvement suggestions.
