Overview of the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Parts Supervisor to join our dynamic Aftersales team at FAMCO. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the performance of the Parts Counter Sales operation, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, maximising profitability, and delivering an efficient and effective parts service.

This is a key leadership role within the Aftersales department, where you will lead by example, oversee day-to-day parts operations, and work closely with both internal teams and external customers to maintain strong relationships and deliver business results.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the daily operations of the Parts Counter Sales to ensure excellent service and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend to customers at the Parts Sales Counter, identifying their needs and providing the right parts and support for all FAMCO brands.
  • Respond to customer enquiries, using the parts catalogues to accurately identify and source parts.
  • Ensure that all parts sold and issued are serviceable, suitable, and meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor back-orders and proactively follow up to provide customers with timely updates and deliver on promised dates.
  • Manage parts sales processes including quotations, sales orders, sales returns, warranties, and discounts in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of P&L and drive parts sales with forward-thinking strategies.
  • Assist with warranty returns and the handling of old stock unit returns.
  • Maintain direct contact with key customer accounts, conducting regular visits alongside Aftermarket Sales Executives to strengthen customer relationships.

  • PC literacy and familiarity with parts catalogues and sales systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both customers and internal teams.

About the team:

You will be joining a passionate Aftersales team at FAMCO, working alongside our Parts and Service colleagues to deliver best-in-class parts support to our valued customers across multiple industries. You will collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Workshop Staff, and Regional Managers, as well as engage directly with our external customers.

What equips you for the role:

  • Higher Diploma in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a Parts Sales or Parts Supervisor role within an automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial parts environment is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple brands and a diverse customer base.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to achieve customer satisfaction while protecting company interests.
  • Ability to interpret financial reports (P&L) and contribute to profitability improvement
