Package Specialist-Oracle Data Integration

Are you a data transformation expert with deep experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)?

We are seeking a dedicated Package Specialist for Oracle Data Integration to help our clients streamline their data processes, boost efficiency, and maximize their existing data integration platforms.

This is a 12 month contract in Saudi Arabia

The Opportunity: ETL Optimization Expert

You will be the go-to expert for implementing best practices and technical solutions within Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Your primary mission will be to help clients leverage their existing ODI platform for efficient data transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Aid clients in optimizing their data integration processes by utilizing the full capabilities of the existing ODI platform.
• Dependency Reduction: Significantly reduce the dependency on manual data transformation and coding of ETL scripts by configuring and automating workflows within ODI.
• Implementation & Configuration: Provide expertise in ODI installation, configuration, and setup, ensuring environments are robust and scalable.
• Technical Enablement: Guide clients through key ODI technology concepts and features, including:
• Designer (mapping and modelling)
• Transformation (data manipulation)
• Topology (connection architecture)
• Knowledge Modules (pre-built routines for tasks like load, check, and reverse-engineer).
  
  
  

Your Essential Expertise

• Core Platform: Proven, hands-on experience as a Package Specialist or Consultant for Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• ETL/ELT Focus: Strong understanding of ETL/ELT principles and best practices for data warehousing and integration.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with key ODI components: Designer, Transformation, Topology, and Knowledge Modules.
• Consulting Skills: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to clients, document requirements, and drive process improvement.
