Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ORAT Manager to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and coordinate activities related to noise contour development and updates, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and stakeholder requirements.
  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and update cycles of the airport’s digital twin technology for accurate simulation and operational planning.
  • Manage and coordinate the NERA contract, ensuring deliverables meet operational and regulatory expectations.
  • Facilitate and manage the process for airfield naming changes, coordinating with internal departments and external authorities for smooth implementation.
  • Oversee integration projects involving the control tower, runways, and apron infrastructure to ensure seamless operational synergy and infrastructure alignment.
  • Conduct airspace design reviews, evaluating constraints and impacts on airfield infrastructure, and coordinate with aviation authorities and engineering teams to optimize design outcomes.
  • Act as the key liaison between airport operations, regulatory bodies, engineering consultants, and contractors for coordinated project execution.
  • Ensure all activities comply with ICAO, FAA, and local aviation authority regulations and policies.
  • Support and lead operational risk assessments, safety reviews, and mitigation strategies related to airfield infrastructure and airspace management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and progress tracking for all coordinated activities.
  • Lead change management efforts related to airfield infrastructure modifications, technology deployments, and operational updates.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor performance, ensuring contract terms, quality standards, and timelines are met.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, noise contour updates, digital twin deployments, and other key operational metrics.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all operational changes, approvals, and compliance records.
  • Provide briefings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders regarding airfield operations and infrastructure projects.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Civil Engineering, Airport Operations, or related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in airport or airfield operations, infrastructure management, or aviation project coordination.
  • Proven experience managing complex operational programs involving environmental compliance, infrastructure integration, and airspace design.
  • Advanced certifications in airport operations, environmental management, or project management (e.g., PMP, ASP).
  • Experience working with aviation regulatory bodies and environmental agencies.
  • Familiarity with airfield naming conventions and international aviation standards.
  • Multilingual skills, with fluency in English required; other languages such as Arabic advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to handle complex operational challenges in dynamic airport environments.
