What You'll Be Doing

As an Optician you will be responsible for helping customers select and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, based on the prescriptions provided by the Optometrists. The Optician also provides education on eyewear maintenance, vision care, and assists in the overall management of the optical shop or department.

In addition you will act as an ambassador for RETAIL BANNER, ensuring every customer is welcomed into the store and to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the customer experience. You’ll get to perform almost all store functions including opening and closing, merchandising and of course selling. As a Luxottica ambassador you will understand and bring to life the Luxottica characteristics and the Oliver Peoples culture.

Major duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescriptions, needs, and preferences.
• Provide expert advice on frame styles, lens options, and lens coatings.
• Explain the differences between various types of lenses and frames to help customers make informed decisions.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues related to eyewear products and services.
• Meet sales targets with regard to selling spectacles & Contact lenses
  
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Minimum of 1-year experience and in possession of an optical diploma
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
• Licensed Optician by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties is a must.
