Job Description

 Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lead all Business Process / BPM (Business Process Management) activities within the company.
  • Ensure that all AEC processes are well defined and connected with no overlaps and gaps among them.
  • Work with functional departments to streamline their business processes and help them discover, document, change, improve and maintain them.
  • Coach and support departmental focal points / BP practitioners in process mapping.
  • Standardize AEC’s process documentation methodology and continually improve it vis-à-vis industry best practice.
  • Define process Performance Measures, inter and intra Process SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Coordinate all BPI (Business Process Improvement) activities within the company and maintain a corporate registry for the same.
  • Conduct Business Process training for technicians and junior staff.
  • Ensure alignment of Process Measures with BSC KPI measures.
  • Ensure that Cost of Quality is measured effectively.
  • Lead the implementation of Environmental Management System.
  • Assure standards repository is updated and maintained.
  • Manage customer complaints and assure resolution in efficient and effective manner.
  • Promote OE culture in AEC by getting involved into different programs such as Fikrati, Tatweeri, Beeati, Mareefati, etc.
  • Conduct awareness sessions for subjects related to OE.
  • Using engineering principles of lean six sigma like ( 5s, VSM, Poka Yoke …etc )
  • Support OE to create a motivating work environment to encourage employees express and share new ideas.
  • Develop training programs for Summer and COOP trainees.
  • Arrange recurring meetings with OE champions.
  • Arrange internal meetings to review department progress.
  • Manage to monitor and document OE achievements.
  • Any other task requested by management.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s’ in Industrial engineering or Mechanical engineering, MBA is also Preferred.
