As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Being responsible for employee safety, compliance of environmental rules and regulations, product quality, on time production, troubleshooting of production problems and continuous improvement of our production processes and efficiencies.
• Overseeing and managing front-line manufacturing employees (field operators) and responsible to exchange data and information with support functions.
• Possessing strong operations knowledge and impart the experience to the team.
• Driving compliance with Safety, Environmental, and PSM reporting requirements.
• Monitoring safety issues / hazards that arise during permit writing, reviewing energy isolation and leading the site visits and audits.
• Coordinating emergency response activities in their area
• Being responsible for monitoring Operators progress on training and qualification.
• Ensuring effective shift cadence around shift handover, start-of-shift meetings, operator rounds, equipment preparation, procedure execution, and other shift activities.
• Maintaining presence in control rooms and field areas with face-to-face contact, providing continuous coaching for Operators on their shift.
• Ensuring effective communication between shifts and the day organization, documenting process issues and work notifications.
• Being responsible for work order generation, follow-up and close outs with other departments.
• Ensuring cross-area communications are clear, concise and are in timely manner.

• Have bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in operation of manufacturing process plants).
• Be able to work in a team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
