Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation and review of O&M facility (stations, rolling stock depots and infrastructure maintenance bases) studies, delivery strategies, tender and design specification in consideration of operation and maintenance requirements;
• Identify O&M facilities’ operation and maintenance design issues and ensure that O&M facilities are delivered according to approved design (taking into consideration international standards);
• Define O&M facilities’ operation and maintenance concepts, such as standard operating procedures and plans, training plans, maintenance regim, etc.
• Oversee operation readiness of O&M facilities (attending Test & Commisioning sessions and supervising Trial Run), analyzing progress and providing recommendations based upon results;
• Liaise with key stakeholders to secure orderly and successful asset handover and start of commercial operation, providing ramp-up guidance to Train Operating Company;
• Supervise O&M facilities’ operation and maintenance requirement management process to ensure such requirements will be floating down to component requirements;
• Lead, assist and participate in general meetings on-site, and in internal discussion sessions, telephone conferences and team meetings;
• Attend and lead official meetings with governmental authorities (e.g. SEC);
• Provide organizational and technical guidance as well as train staff.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• University degree or master’s degree in Engineering or similar
• At least 10 and preferably 15 years experience in his required field of expertise
• Long standing experience in O&M Facility Design, Operation and/or Maintenance
• International working experience in the technical supervision of O&M facility projects
• Business-focused mindset and manner with keen and insightful perceptions
• Collaborative, flexible and independent with a well-structured working approach
• Excellent English skills, Arabic is advantageous
• Driving license required in order to perform assigned duties
