Officer, Duty

Job Purpose

To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the mall by acting as the primary point of contact for operational issues, tenant relations, and customer service inquiries. Within the Kinan organization, the Duty Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and customer- friendly environment. This position is integral to upholding Kinan's standards of excellence in facility management and enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Main Accountabilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily mall operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct routine inspections to verify that facilities meet safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between mall management and tenants, resolving issues and facilitating communication.
• Support tenants by addressing operational needs and providing guidance on mall policies and procedures.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism.
• Develop initiatives to improve the overall customer experience and promote a positive shopping environment.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure the safety and security of all visitors, staff, and property.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as maintenance, security, and housekeeping to address issues promptly.
• Facilitate communication between various teams to ensure seamless operations and address any operational challenges.
• Coordinate logistic support for events, ensuring compliance with mall policies and tenant agreements.
  
  

Job Context

Operating Environment:

• Based Riyadh
• Provides day-to-day operational and administrative support for facility management activities across assigned properties.
  
  

Communications & Working Relationships

• Reports directly to Manager II, Facility Management & Rimal Operation.
• Coordinate regularly with vendors, contractors, service providers, and internal departments to support smooth facility operations.
• Employed under a one-year contract and will be renewable for a comparable period unless either party notifies.
  
  

Framework, Boundaries & Decision-making Responsibility

• Operates under the supervision and direction of Manager II, Facility Management & Rimal Operation.
• Responsible for monitoring service delivery, reporting issues, following up on maintenance requests, and assisting in vendor coordination.
• Has limited decision-making authority; primarily supports the execution of planned maintenance, repairs, and compliance tasks within set policies and procedures.
  
  

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Facility Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail, hospitality, or facility management environment.
  
  

Required Languages & Computer Skills

• Arabic & English.
• Microsoft office, (Excel, PowerPoint and word).
