Summary: This role focuses on optimizing the usage of Nutanix products to enhance customer experience and streamline operations through effective management and support of the Nutanix environment.

- Assess current usage of Nutanix products and drive their adoption.
- Ensure effective administration and support of the customer’s Nutanix environment.
- Handle installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations (3-tier to Nutanix, cross-hypervisor migrations).
- Proactively monitor alerts and manage remediation.
- Troubleshoot performance and availability issues.
- Conduct capacity planning and reporting.
- Manage VM lifecycle tasks (creation, deletion, cloning, snapshots, etc.).
- Collaborate with Nutanix support for advanced troubleshooting.
- Assist in planning and executing disaster recovery (DR) drills.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on Nutanix best practices.
- Automate administrative tasks using Nutanix features.
- Collaborate with the Nutanix Sales Team on customer engagement and opportunity identification.
- Provide comprehensive status reporting on projects and updates.
- Conduct proofs of concept for Nutanix portfolio products.
- Train and enable customer resources.
- 8–10 years in system administration and virtualization technologies.
- Expert knowledge of Nutanix AOS/AHV and/or Hyper-V, VMware ESXi.
- Ability to independently analyze and diagnose complex problems across platforms.
- Strong customer-centric approach and communication skills.
- Proficiency in conducting presentations and creating customer-centric documentation.
- ITIL practice or certification (preferred).
- Proficient understanding of storage and data protection technologies.
- Python/PowerShell scripting for task automation.
- Knowledge of VDI (Horizon or Citrix).
- Experience with SQL clusters, networking, and routing.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Veeam Backup.
- Experience with F5 & Citrix Netscaler.
