A Snapshot of Your Day
As a New Unit Electrical Installation Engineer at Siemens Energy, your day will be focused on the hands-on installation and supervision of gas turbine and steam turbine components at power plant sites. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, collaborate closely with the project team, and ensure compliance with Siemens Energy’s contract requirements and safety procedures. Your role will involve submitting detailed daily reports and actively contributing to a culture of safety, all while adapting to the dynamic environment of new installations.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. How You’ll Make An Impact
- Perform hands-on installation of gas turbine and steam turbine components for power plants.
- Troubleshoot and supervise generator and gas turbine operations during new installations.
- Review and execute project scope in accordance with Siemens Energy contract requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team and submit detailed daily reports to management.
- Ensure adherence to Siemens Energy procedures during commissioning activities.
- Promote a safety culture aligned with Siemens Energy’s Zero Harm initiative.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in construction and supervision of power plant installations.
- Self-driven with the ability to make decisions with minimal guidance.
- Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong teamwork and results-oriented mindset, with risk management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (80%+) and work on-site for the majority of the time.
