Network Engineering Assistant Manager

You will be responsible for

Configure routers, switches, and wireless access points to establish a robust and secure network infrastructure

Implement network segmentation and access control policies to optimize network traffic and security

Implement network monitoring tools and procedures to proactively identify potential problems

Perform routine network maintenance tasks to optimize performance and prevent outages

Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Effectively diagnose and resolve network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation

Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference

Assist in planning, testing, and implementing network upgrades and expansions to meet evolving business needs

Stay up to date with emerging network technologies to recommend strategic upgrades

Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures

Ensure clear and concise documentation to facilitate maintenance and future reference

Provide technical support to users experiencing network-related issues

Troubleshoot user connectivity problems and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team

Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., security, server administration) to ensure network integration with other systems and applications

Communicate effectively to ensure alignment between network infrastructure and business needs

Assist in developing and enforcing network policies and procedures to maintain security and efficient network usage

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices

Perform Other Activities As And When Required

You will need

At least 3 years of experience in relevant field

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent is preferred
