Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for managing and directing the product portfolio for mission-critical services. This includes defining the go-to-market strategy, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development and implementation of organizational plans in line with corporate objectives.
  • Directs and manages the Mission Critical Products mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Interprets and implements change in the Mission Critical Products domain, providing guidance and support necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards in the Mission Critical Products area.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define go-to-market and product roadmap for mission-critical services.
  • Execute end-to-end mission-critical services portfolio, including portfolio revamps or decommissioning of products.
  • Manage lifecycle from ideation to soft/commercial launch for new services and enhancements, including drafting budget/business case, resource requirements, detailed product roadmap, functionalities, operating model, and partners' requirements.

Job Responsibility (Cont.)

  • Draft all user journeys and business requirements documentation related to mission-critical services.
  • Ensure all business requirements are sufficiently detailed for all mission-critical products and services.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to liaise with technology in handing over requirements for the development of mission-critical products and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and enhance business and market requirements for mission-critical products and services.
  • Work with Industry Insights & Market Intelligence & Segmentation and Customer Journey & Channels Management to gather feedback on products, competition, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to develop communication campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to collate customer feedback and analyze it to revamp/amend services.
  • Develop tariff plans for all mission-critical services in line with pricing guidelines and evaluate the cannibalization impact of pricing decisions.
  • Monitor service performance.
  • Collaborate with Customer Journey & Channels Management, CVM & Data, and Marketing & Communication to align on customer experience, loyalty, and retention requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Solution Architecture in the development of technical proposals, including mission-critical products and services.
  • Provide product leadership and work with other stakeholders such as Sales, Retention, Customer Experience, Network, Digital Services, IT, Finance, and external partners.
  • Develop value proposition training manuals for sales and customer service and conduct training sessions with them.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Strategy regarding inputs for ideation and with Telco Product Pricing & Profitability for pricing for business case and post-implementation reviews.

People Management Responsibilities

  • Defines goals and key performance indicators for team members and ensures effective application of the performance management process.
  • Directs planning and selection of manpower in the Mission Critical Products area, in line with business and operational plans.
  • Ensures a high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
