Duties & ResponsibilitiesUndertake day to day delivery of all MEP management tasks
Develop the client brief into Project MEP Execution Plan to suit the specific requirements of the project
Undertake full MEP design management and manage design teams in the development of design solutions to meet the client’s expectations and budget
Partake in the management and handling of local government approvals process
Administer complex contracts, proactively managing and confirming the compliance of contractors/consultants to the contract terms and conditions
Assist with the compilation of MEP tender documents and critically reviewing tender returns, contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting
Develop project MEP documentation, programs, master budget etc
Produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects
Deliver projects within the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case/client brief stage, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality
Monitor and report on the main and specialist sub-contractor’s progress against the contract program
Oversee and witness Testing and Commissioning along with assisting the T&C Plan with the Contractor and CSC
Manage consultant/contractor teams to ensure that the contractor’s design is done in compliance with the contract
Manage consultant/contractor teams to ensure that the built product is compliant with the contract
Oversee the Construction Supervision Consultant and ensure they are undertaking their works in accordance with their contract
Qualifications Bachelor in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
8+ years of progressive MEP engineering experience in commercial real estate or construction
Strong knowledge of building codes and standards
Excellent project management and organizational abilities
Strong communication and presentation skills
