Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented MEP Engineer - QS & Cost to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide initial cost estimates based on high-level project requirements.
• Quantity surveying, preparing & reviewing takeoff sheets for all project MEP items.
• Preparation of cost estimation for MEP works (HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting) and Pricing, Rate Buildup of Materials, Labor, Plants .
• Preparing cost estimate and cost plan in accordance with standard methods of measurements throughout the different design stages for MEP works.
• Make Presentations to Client / Senior Management
• Attend and participate in value engineering workshops and advise on cost implications.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction Management or Quantity Surveyor or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 8+ years of related work experience involving typical QS activities.
• Knowledge of pre and post contract administration.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
• Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with, construction contract commercial documents, drawings and specifications.
• work with Auto Cad, Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently.
