MEP Engineer - Electrical

WSP is looking for an MEP Engineer - Electrical Engineer for a project in Riyadh.

• Verify the contractor's shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to Electrical works
• Collaborate with the Design Manager to ensure that the contractor's submittals are compliant with the design intent
• Monitor the MEP works carried out by the contractor on-site to ensure that they comply with the project specifications, drawings, and codes
• Coordinate with the contractor and other project stakeholders to ensure that electrical works are integrated seamlessly into the overall project plan
• Participate in site meetings and provide updates on the progress of MEP works
• Resolve any MEP-related issues or conflicts that arise during construction, in consultation with the Design Manager
• Ensure that MEP works are completed on time and within budget
• Perform periodic quality control checks and inspections to ensure that electrical works are of high quality
• Review and approve the contractor's invoices related to electrical works
• Provide technical support to the project team during the construction phase

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a project management consultancy firm
• Familiarity with electrical design, construction, and installation methods and codes
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines
• Proficient in MEP software and Microsoft Office & AutoCAD
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
