The Position
As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the business plan for your designated area which will be Jeddah city to meet company objectives and sales targets. This role requires a results-driven mindset, strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will contribute to the national business plan by promoting Novo Nordisk products and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Other responsibilities will include:


  • Design, develop, and implement business plans for your region to achieve sales targets.
  • Track, measure, and present key performance metrics, including prescription depth and breadth.
  • Collaborate with healthcare practitioners to promote Novo Nordisk products effectively.
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach with high ownership and adapt action plans to meet customer needs.
  • Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders, including KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, and hospital management.



Qualifications

On a personal level, we expect you to be a proactive individual who can independently assess situations and find effective solutions. You should have a strong ability to learn and communicate complex scientific and product-related information clearly. An entrepreneurial mindset, combined with excellent influencing skills and a collaborative team spirit, is essential for success in this role.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:


  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy with certification to work in the field.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel); prior experience with sales data/call reporting software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present scientific product information.



About The Department

The Diabetes Care Sales Team that leads Novo Nordisk’s Diabetes product portfolio in Saudi Arabia, which includes world class therapies for the treatment of diabetes and the reduction of adverse cardiovascular events. As part of the team, you will be responsible to promote NN products, have frontline exposure to our portfolio vision, business strategies, and critical market insights that drive our business forward. You will drive the NN GLP-1 & Insulin portfolio strategy to ensure that the latest therapies and products reach the people who need them most.
