Medical and Surgical Ward Nurse - UK/ Europe Based Candidate

The Role
Our client, a premier medical facility, is currently looking for a Medical and Surgical Ward Nurse (UK/Europe-Based) to relocate to the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in both medical and surgical settings, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their hospital stay. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay, monitoring vital signs and recognizing any changes in their condition. - Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring that each patient’s needs are met. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects. - Provide education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care. - Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with hospital policies. - Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients. - Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent. - Valid nursing license in Saudi Arabia or eligibility for licensures. - Minimum 5 years of nursing experience after graduation with current medical/surgical inpatient experience of 2 years. - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR). - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred. - Surgical candidates: experience in General surgery, Neuro, Vascular, Thoracic, and urology surgeries. Experience in care of patients with tracheotomy, wound care, colostomy, Chest tube drainage, central line care, Burns care. - Orthopedic Surgical candidates should be proficient in applying casts, managing traction and operating continuous passive motion (CPM) devices.
