Position Summary


We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Mechanical Site Inspector to oversee the quality inspection and verification of all mechanical installations and components during the construction and implementation phases. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, standards, and contractual obligations, while maintaining thorough records of all inspection activities.


Key Qualifications & Requirements (Mandatory)


Educational Foundation: Minimum of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 7 years of professional experience (degree type does not affect required experience).


Note: While secondary education is preferred, a university degree with relevant experience is acceptable.


Specialized Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in construction and infrastructure (implementation and supervision) projects, specifically from a mechanical perspective.


Proven expertise in inspecting, sampling, and testing mechanical materials, as well as witnessing contractor tests.


No specific certifications are mandatory.


Core Duties & Responsibilities


Inspection & Verification: Inspect all mechanical works and materials both on-site and off-site, and witness required contractor tests to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.


Non-Conformance Management: Identify non-conforming works or materials, document findings, and notify the contractor, ensuring corrective actions are taken.


As-Built Validation: Review and verify the accuracy of contractors’ As-Built drawings and supporting documentation related to mechanical installations.


Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and detailed records of all inspection activities, tests, and site progress.


Collaboration: Work closely with the Resident Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer, and site teams to ensure quality and compliance are achieved throughout project execution.


Preferred Skills


Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and materials within construction and infrastructure projects.


Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.


Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and under strict timelines.


Familiarity with KSA standards and international best practices in mechanical inspection.
