WSP is currently searching for an accomplished and experienced professional to join our team as a Mechanical Inspector.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software and engineering principles.
  • Conduct analysis and simulation studies to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.Participate in prototyping and testing activities to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate design concepts, analysis results, and project updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers from other disciplines, to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and other components.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions to overcome challenges encountered during the design and development process.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering through self-study and participation in training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and specifications, as well as adherence to quality assurance processes and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
  • 05 Years experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and practices.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Experience using inspection tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO) is desirable.
  • Certification in mechanical inspection or quality assurance (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector) is a plus.
