Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a team and apply your experience and skills in advanced mechanical engineering techniques and analyses bringing projects to fruition and completion.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conceptualize, design, develop, determines methods and mechanical design solutions for multiple projects
• Ensures compliance of design with all applicable codes and regulations
• Prepare material/equipment specifications and purchase requisitions.
• Review supplier data; witnesses shop tests, assists with assessing supplier manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop operation and maintenance plans; develops standard operating procedures; prepares O & M manuals.
• Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in infrastructure or mixed-use development projects.
• Extensive knowledge of design and installation of mechanical systems.
• Strong background in mechanical project management and supervisory assignments in scheduling, planning, budgeting, procurement and feasibility studies.
• Mechanical engineering expertise and supervising the mechanical coordination.
• Ability to analyze/troubleshoot and execute necessary corrective measures.
• Excellent ability to read, analyze and communicate effectively, verbally, written English and presentation format.

• Familiarity of industry practices and regulations are preferred.
• PMP Certification
